Zeiss Lenses

OK, I think I'm pretty sure that the first two of these originally came with the vintage Zeiss microscope.  With that being said, there is a good possibility that I'm making assumptions and that there's more Zeiss specific objectives that I haven't found yet.  I'm still finding objectives everywhere...

This one is obviously an oil lens (not that I know what that means exactly, lol) but it's one of two that I've found that specifically say Zeiss Winkel on it.  The second one, below, also says that.

Because they are both marked like the vintage Zeiss Microscope, I'm thinking they might be two of the original objectives that came with the microscope.  I have a Third that's marked Carl Zeiss so this might have also come with the microscope but I doubt it was original.

  1. If the objectives that are on the Ziess say Ziess probably not but if they say something else these are probably the objectives.

    1. Actually the ones on the Zeiss don't actually say Zeiss but they are the distinctive design.

    3. I would recommend that you keep all Zeiss objectives with your Zeiss microscope. Zeiss Winkle and Carl Zeiss are the same makers. Zeiss Winkle became Carl Zeiss in 1955. So they will all go on your Zeiss Zinkel microscope with the Carl Zeiss binocular head.

    4. I am doing just that. Easier to divide up the ones I know the brands for and then try to figure out the rest later.
