Vintage Zeiss?

This microscope is possibly vintage and possibly cobbled together as well.  I couldn't find anything on it at the Zeiss website.  I found a similar one on eBay but it had 4 objective lenses, not three.  Here's the pictures with the wording and numbers in them repeated under the photo.

The eye pieces are both marked Zeiss Winkel 12.5x.  There is a mechanism for adjusting the position of the slide that is marked Zeiss Winkel 164273.  There is no light source for this microscope.  If anybody can confirm anything about this microscope for me, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you!

  1. That microscope is a Zeiss Winkel Junior. The light source would have a peg on the bottom which would go on the stage where the round hole is. The 20X infinity objective normally does not go on this version of the Zeiss microscope.

  2. Ok, great. That gives me a starting point. Now I just have to find out which lenses should be on it and see if dad has them stashed with the other 40 or 50 objective lenses in the drawer, lol. Thank you Charlie. :)
